What do I do in case of an emergency?

Call 911 first, always! They will ask you for your address, so make sure you have that information. Then call resort patrol!

Are dogs allowed on the beach?

Yes, but per Charlotte County leash law, dogs must remain on leashes. We also ask that you pick up after your pets. Pets are restricted from the Shorebird Sanctuary area located near the Lands End North beach access.

How do I get my mail and online orders delivered?

Your deliveries should be addressed to 7092 Placida Road (Your Unit #), Cape Haze, FL 33946, which is the mainland office. For special arrangements and to have your packages delivered to your residence on island, please contact our delivery driver at 941-628-1386.

Can I bring my RV or Motor Home? Is there a parking fee?

There are two spaces available, and these are by reservation only. There is not a parking fee, but you must be a Resort Service Program member to park in the parking area. Please make arrangements with Resort Patrol in advance.

Does the restaurant serve breakfast?

Rum Bay does not serve breakfast. Leverock's serves brunch on Sunday's. For weekday needs, Coconut's does sell limited grocery items, including some breakfast items, and they sell toasted breakfast sandwiches every day.

What is the difference between RSP barge pass and FLEX pass?

The RSP barge pass is an amenity provided to Resort Service Program members. this pass is not car specific and is valid for 2 years. The Flex pass is issued by transit, is only valid for 1 year and is car specific.

What are the standard hours of the car ferry?

The ferry runs Sunday through Thursday from 6:30am-10:00pm. Friday - 6:30am-11:00pm. Saturday - 6:30am-12:00am.

Is there a grocery store on the island?

There is not a full service grocery store on the island, however Coconut's Cafe does have limited grocery items.

Is there an ATM on island?

No, there is not an ATM on island. The nearest ATM is located at the Mobile gas station in Cape Haze or Publix in Cape Haze.

Do I need a reservation for my boat dockage?

Yes, please make arrangements with the Guest Services department at 941-697-4800 or email frontdesk@palmisland.com.

As a property owner in the rental program, how much time do I get to use my villa?

That is up to you! We do not limit usage of any owner's villa. We just ask that you notify Guest Services with as much advanced notice as possible.

As a property owner participating in the Rental Program, what does it cost when we stay in our unit?

The cost of a cleaning fee based on the size of your residence would apply.

Where can I park my golf cart when we return home?

Long term parking for golf carts is available by the parking area next to the bellstand.

Why do unescorted guests using our vacation home have to pay a fee?

Unescorted guests pay a fee to be able to utilize the various benefits provided within the Resort Services Program, such as parking in our island parking area, bellman services, charging privileges at the various island vendors, and more!

Can I opt out of the Bulk Cable arrangement and not pay since we stream our tv viewing?

No, bulk account participation is required to receive discounted rates and future offers.

How often does the water taxi run?

Water taxi hours are every half an hour of each hour starting at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30….etc. Last taxi going to the island is at 6:30. Last taxi going back to the main land is at 8:15.
